PJ Harvey's female driven rock is effective. The songs are to the point, feeling like they're bringing their own clear perspective in an alt rock vibe that doesn't soften but hits as hard as it wants to. It's such an effective sound that the album flew by, to the point where it just wasn't enough for me and I really need to find more.
