The six hundred and ninetieth album: #690 Gang Starr - Step in the Arena
With rap rising quickly on the list, I've had some mixed experiences so far. Gang Starr falls on the good side, with music that feels focused on the rap and basic sound rather than the mix of samples that dominates other rap albums. It feels focused, both in sound and length, and manages to stand out positively in a genre where my feelings tend to end up mixed at best.
The one hundred and sixteenth comic: #351 Alberto the Wolf
It's easy to get the gist of this without even reading the comic - a humor strip of a wolf that lives on a farm with other animals, a dog that is in charge of security, a chicken the wolf is close with... it writes itself and, yeah, at this point I got the feeling for a lot of the humour. It works fine, but it feels like it sticks to what it is quite closely, seemingly expanding as it goes on but sticking to what it has.
